Donate to the Southampton Village Volunteer Ambulance

The members of the Southampton Village Volunteer Ambulance wish to thank you for your continued support.

As always, our volunteer members are ready to serve you and your loved ones 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

This means our members are taking their personal time to make sure our community is safe. Last year, we responded to almost 630 emergency calls, and we are once again on track for a record number of calls this year. We have seen not only a continuing Increase In the number of calls, but also an Increase In the percentage of calls of a serious nature, requiring more advanced emergency medical Interventions. This has caused us to increase our membership which has gone from 14to over 40 volunteers in 3years, and to upgrade our status from basic life support to advanced life support. In addition to responding to calls, you will see the SVVA on stand-by at football games, parades, public events and benefits, as well as maintaining in-house stand-by crews for hurricanes, blizzards, and other natural disasters.

Thanks largely to the generosity of the Southampton community; the continuing education of our members combined with the purchase of state-of the-art medical equipment and supplies allows us to offer a broader range of emergency medical skills and specialized services. Additionally, your donations have made it possible to purchase a Polaris ATV equipped for emergency purposes. This new, smaller vehicle has allowed us to efficiently reach distress calls on the beach, at parades, and even in homes when limited access does not allow for an ambulance.

Now, more than ever, your support makes a difference in maintaining the high level of quality care we provide. We hope that you never have to call us for emergency medical aid, but if you call, we are there for you. The Southampton Village Volunteer Ambulance is a charitable organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, all donations are tax deductable.
