It’s been 10 years in the making, but the building for the new headquarters of the Southampton Village Volunteer Ambulance is nearing completion! The new HQ is expected to be cleared for occupancy by this fall. Shortly thereafter, the members hope to furnish and move into the building.
Fundraising is currently underway to supply desks, chairs, tables, storage lockers, training supplies and equipment, computers, and other necessary items. Robert Gill of Hampton Fabric & Blinds has generously donated all of the window treatments for the new headquarters. The Southampton Association has also been generous and hosted a fundraiser to collect funds for the fitness equipment.
All donations of $500 and up will be acknowledged on a plaque in the building’s main vestibule. Naming opportunities are also available. See attached donation form for more details.
An opening reception cocktail party will be held in September to thank the donors and to further fundraise for any items not already donated.
